We are currently looking for a Assistant Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team here at Thon Hotel EU.

Do

· Lead: On an operational level, you lead the Reception Team by example, interact with our guests and actively contribute to the excellence of the department.

· Execute: You ensure that all tasks are followed up to keep the highest standards linked with the operational front of the house & back office work.

· Collaborate: You will ensure the smooth running & coordination of the department, supervising and motivating the team at all time. Happy employees create happy customers.

· Manage: As part of the Front Office Team, you will perform shifts as Manager on Duty on a regular base (guest handling, operational support to all departments, safety & security checks, etc.) also during weekends and bank holidays.

Our perfect match

· Experience in Front Office department. You have previous experience in Front Office in a similar position or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Hotel capacity.

· Customer oriented. Making people happy is your priority. You adapt to the changing needs of our guests.

· Communication. You love being in contact with both guests and colleagues in English and French, Dutch and every other language is a plus.

· Engagement & Loyalty. Being involved and invested daily. You adapt easily to people and situations and are willing to work during weekends and bank holidays.

· Team player. You ensure that the department operates efficiently and respect the different targets/challenges set by the Front Office Manager.

· Innovative. You think out the box, have a close eye on trends and adapt to the changing needs of the guests & the department.

· IT systems. Knowledge of Opera & Microsoft Office is a plus.
