About the centre
Conveniently located in the heart of the city, AMFI Ulsteinvik is a popular shopping destination for local residents. Since opening in 2005, the centre has become an important part of the city centre and works closely with other downtown shops to bring activity and a sense of vitality to Ulsteinvik. The centre is also easy to reach by both bus and car and has plenty of parking.
In 2023, AMFI Ulsteinvik reported record-high visitor numbers and a significant increase in sales.
Market and customer base
As the heart of the local community, AMFI Ulsteinvik is a centre that focuses on city residents of all genders and ages. The centre’s primary market consists of residents of Ulstein, Hareid, Herøy, Sande and Vanylven (with a combined population of around 28,000), but there are also numerous visitors in the secondary markets of Ørsta and Volda (with a total population of around 20,000).

AMFI Ulsteinvik has a retail mix carefully selected to meet everyday needs, while also including food service establishments with attractive dining areas that creates an inviting social setting for visitors. The centre has all the grocery essentials, clothing, home goods, shoes and toy shops.
