Largest shopping centre owner in Norway

The Olav Thon Group owns and manages over 80 shopping centres in Norway and Sweden. This makes us the largest shopping centre operator in Norway – and one of Scandinavia’s largest.

Olav Thon Group shopping centres

Since the opening of Strømmen Storsenter in 1985, the Olav Thon Group has become a solid player in the ownership and management of shopping centres in Norway.

Our shopping centres are located all over Norway – as far as Svalbard – and just outside the country, such as the very popular Nordby Shoppingcenter directly across the Swedish border.

Some centres are small and local, while others are among Norway’s largest shopping centres.

Solid shopping centre operations and marketing

Many of the centres are owned and operated by us, while others are managed together with or for other owners.

The centres are run by experienced managers with an understanding of store composition, sustainability and customer flow. In addition, the centres receive support for operations, marketing and websites from experienced and service-minded employees at the head office.

This makes our shopping centres popular for both visitors and tenants!
