One of Flås’ biggest attractions: Bjørneparken Zoo
This fantastic zoo for the entire family lets you get up close to wild and exotic animals, take a rollercoaster, help the staff feed the animals and watch a theatre performance. The zoo is home to everything from amur leopards, alpacas, alligators and turtles to reindeer, wolves, lynx and, of course, bears. -
Close to Turufjell ski resort
The popular resort has seven slopes with different degrees of difficulty, two ski lifts and a conveyor belt with T-bar. The owners plan to develop the resort further in coming years. -

Location
The municipality of Flå is located in Hallingdal in Buskerud County and borders Ringerike in the east, Nore and Uvdal in the west and Nesbyen in the northwest.

Public transportation
The Flå railway station is one of the stops along the Bergen Line and you can easily travel both east and west by train from Flå. The train to Bergen takes around 4 1/2 hours, while it takes around 2 1/2 hours to travel to Oslo.
A bus runs from the centre of Flå to Oslo, which takes around two hours.
