Location

Lervik is located in the municipality of Strømstad in Västra Götaland County, Sweden, just west of the Svinesund Bridge.

Population

Approx. 60 in Lervik (2015). Approx. 13,500 in Strömstad Municipality (2024).

Services

Only a two-minute drive from Lervik is the Nordby Köpcentrum, home to one of Sweden’s largest shopping centres, a pharmacy and several restaurants and grocery stores.

Holiday in Lervik

A new jetty has been built in Lervik where holiday home owners can purchase a private yacht space. The area also has a sand beach and nice swimming areas, as well as a playground. It is also a short distance to Strömstad Spa & Resort from Lervik, home to fantastic spa facilities and an 18-hole golf course.

Public transportation

Strømstad has bus connections to Oslo via Ås, Moss and Sarpsborg. You can also take a train to Halden and a bus from there, or a ferry from Sandefjord to Strömstad.

To get to Lervik, you can take the bus to Nordby Köpcenter, which is around two kilometres away.
