AMFI Stord is located in the centre of Leirvik close to the harbour where ferries depart daily. The centre has 500 parking spaces and the bus stops right outside. The main target group for AMFI Stord is families and both the residents of Leirvik and surrounding municipalities shop here on weekends.
Market and customer base
Stord is the regional centre for seven other Sunnhordland municipalities. The centre’s primary market comprises Stord, Fitjar, Bømlo and Tysnes, while the secondary market is Kvinnherad and parts of Fusa, Sveio and Etne. Large numbers of boat tourists also visit Leirvik in the summer.

The Lagunen Storsenter opened the doors to a new destination on 14 November 2018. The first construction phase offers more space for retail, food service, common areas, parking and outdoor areas.
The development project is called 'Moa 2020' and consists of five construction phases. On completion, the AMFI Moa will be one of the largest shopping centres in the country.
