Market and customer base
The municipality of Sør-Varanger is the centre’s primary market, with a population of around 10,000. The secondary market comprises the municipalities of Vadsø, Vardø, Tana, Nesseby, Båtsfjord and others, with a combined population of around 15,000. A number of customers also originate from northern Finland. Kirkenes has East Finnmark’s only hospital, which results in larger visitor numbers to the shopping centre.
