About the centre
The Ski Storsenter is located in the very heart of Ski, only a stone's throw from the city's bus and train stations, with excellent connections in and out of the city. The centre is also easily accessible by car and has plenty of parking. In terms of revenue, the Ski Storsenter is Norway's ninth largest shopping centre.
It is well known for its green profile and has won several awards for this, including the Sustainability Award at the Shopping Centre Conference 2022 and Green Operations Team of the Year 2023. The centre has its own apiary on the roof, where honey is produced that can be purchased by customers.
Market and customer base
The target group for the Ski Storsenter is families and the vast majority of centre visitors arrive by car from neighbouring communities. Visitors drive an average of 13 minutes to reach the centre. The primary market is residents of Nordre Follo and Ås, home to around 76,000 people. The secondary market is residents of Vestby, Ytre Enebakk, Frogn, Nesodden, Indre Østfold and the southern part of Oslo, with a focus on Nordstrand (combined population of 110,000 people).
Retail mix
The Ski Storsenter has a highly varied retail mix. Visitors can shop for everything from everyday necessities like groceries and clothing to electronics, home goods, hobby products, party supplies, delicacies and much more. The centre also has its own apiary on the roof, where honey is produced that can be purchased by customers.

The Ski Storsenter benefits from the city's status as a traffic hub. It takes only 11 minutes by train on the Follo Line to the Oslo city centre and there are good bus connections throughout Ski and to the neighbouring communities.
