About the centre

With over 200 shops and food service establishments, the Sandvika Storsenter in Bærum is the largest shopping destination in the area. A central location near infrastructure and a public transport hub in Sandvika combined with plenty of parking makes it easy to visit the centre.

The Sandvika Storsenter is one of Norway's leading shopping centres and is very well known in the market area, with a solid and stable market share and good customer reviews of shopping experiences.

Market and customer base

The Sandvika Storsenter is the regional centre for local residents and its marketing area stretches from the western part of Oslo to the municipalities of Bærum, Asker, Lier, Drammen and as far as Ringerike, an area that is home to around one million people.

The centre's primary market (western part of Oslo, Asker and Bærum) has a combined population of over 400,000 residents with very high purchasing power and a conscious customer group that likes to stay up to date. There is an overrepresentation of families with young children or young children and teenagers in the primary market, in addition to the 'young urban' and 'urban modern' segments.

Retail mix

The Sandvika Storsenter has over 200 shops and eateries, as well as a wide selection of health-related services. The centre has a unique range of shops, including both Norwegian and international concepts, that is especially diverse in fashion, sports, electronics, home goods, as well as health and well-being. Known as 'the mall that has it all'.
