About the centre
Sandens is located in Kvadraturen in the heart of Kristiansand. It’s easy to find whether walking or driving. The centre has plenty of parking and local buses stop just outside the entrance. Kristiansand station, where trains and express buses stop, is only a short walk from the centre.

The centre’s target group is young adults, students, local residents and tourists visiting Southern Norway. The centre’s strong fashion profile makes it an attractive shopping destination for fashion enthusiasts. The primary market is Kristiansand itself, with a population of around 87,000, while the secondary market comprises Vennesla, Søgne, Songdalen, Lillesand and Birkeland (total population of around 50,000). A picturesque summer town, Kristiansand also attracts a particularly high number of visitors during the summer months, resulting in additional customer traffic to the centre.

Thanks to its central location at the intersection of Markens gate and Tollbodgata in the Kvadraturen area, the Sandens is always surrounded by pedestrians. It forms the very heart of the city, where locals and tourists alike gather. The Tollbodgata bus stop outside the Sandens is served by many of the city's bus lines. For those traveling by train from the north and west, the Kristiansand railway station is only a five-minute walk from the centre.
