Thon Center Mosseporten is only a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Moss, located at the intersection between the E6 motorway and national road 120. With bus stops a few metres away from the centre and ample parking, Mosseporten is easy to access, whether travelling by car or bus.
Market and customer base
Since there are a number of shopping centres in the region, Thon Center Mosseporten decided to limit the core target group to women and mothers aged 30-49. The centre is family-oriented, targeting the residents of Moss, Våler, Råde and Vestby. This region represents a market of around 80,000 people.

Thon Center Mosseporten is a large shopping centre with a varied retail mix of good quality. The centre has a strong focus on groceries, health and wellness, but also has a number of niche shops that attract those interested in clothing, tools, jewellery, home goods and mobile technology.
Conveniently located along the E6, the Thon Center Mosseporten is a practical and attractive shopping destination for visitors. The Mosseporten bus stop is only a few metres from the centre and is served by frequent bus routes to and from the Moss city centre. With its beautiful rock formations and idyllic beaches, Moss is also a popular tourist destination in the summer, resulting in a consistent customer flow during the summer months.

During the Shopping Centre Conference, Sartor Storsenter and Ski Storsenter were rewarded for their excellent efforts. Several other centres in the group were also nominated for awards.
In 2022, Thon Group shopping centres recorded turnover in the amount of around NOK 75 billion. This corresponds to an increase of around 3.3% in relation to 2021. Compared to the last normal year (2019), turnover increased by 14.9%.
