Kvadrat is located in Sandnes and is one of Norway’s largest shopping centres in terms of both turnover and floor area. No fewer than 160 exciting shops and food service establishments make Kvadrat the region’s first choice when selection is a key factor.
The centre not only has a modern and contemporary design, but also a strong focus on the environment and sustainability. Among other things, Kvadrat has an insect hotel and beehives for pollinating insects on the roof, as well as a gaming room for young people. Kvadrat is owned by Storebrand Livsforsikring AS and is managed by the Thon Group.
Market and customer base
Kvadrat’s primary market consists of Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, Randaberg and Jærkommuner, a market with high purchasing power.
The secondary market includes Sirdal, Flekkefjord, Egersund, Ryfylke and tourists.
Retail mix
With over a hundred shops, Kvadrat has a wide reach in terms of selection and sectors, with clothing and footwear as the largest individual sector. We also have 23 food service establishments, a large gaming hall and our own eSports section. We have lots of fun activities for children, young people and adults, especially in connection with campaigns.

The Kvadrat is located right off the E39 around 3.5 kilometres from the Sandnes city centre. It takes only around five minutes by car from Sandnes and twelve minutes from Stavanger to get to the centre. The centre has over 1,600 free parking spaces, making it easily accessible for those travelling by car. In addition, there are over 300 daily bus services to the Kvadrat and a bus stop right outside the centre.
