Carl Nicolai Lundgreen Vold
Director of Property Development – Shopping Centre Division
Carl “Nico” L. Vold started his career in the Olav Thon Group at the age of 16, as an assistant caretaer at Sandvika Storsenter. Since then, he has been head of centre service and centre director at the same location, and has worked as market manager, property manager and regional director at the head office.
Nico graduated in retail management from BI (Norwegian Business School), specialising in shopping centres, and completed an EMBA at NHH (Norwegian School of Economics) in 2020-2022. Today, he is Director of Property Development – Shopping Centre Division in the Olav Thon Group.
In his job as Director of Property Development, he is responsible for the acquisition of new sites, shopping centres and properties, ideas for and development of our shopping centres in the early phase, as well as the expansion and conversion of shopping centres.
What I like most about my job: that I get to help create Norway’s and Sweden’s best retail and meeting places, and that I always have tasks that enable me to learn new things and develop.
