About Skeikampen
Location
Skeikampen is located near the town of Skei in the municipality of Gausdal in Innlandet. It takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes to drive from Oslo, 90 minutes from Gjøvik and 50 minutes from Lillehammer.
Services
There are two grocery stores and a sports shop that are centrally located at Skeikampen. There are also several restaurants and cafés in the area.
Public transportation
The bus from Lillehammer to Skeikampen takes around one hour on weekdays with a transfer at Segalstad bru, while a special ski bus runs on weekends. The bus stop at Skeikampen Alpinsenter is only 1-2 minutes’ walk from the apartments at Skitorget.

Skeikampen has long been a favourite holiday destination for mountain lovers. Back in 1876, Norway’s first tourist hotel opened in the mountains - Høifjeldssanatoriet in Gausdal - inspired by the sanatoriums in the Alps.
