  • What is the rental period?

    Three-year fixed-term lease. After nine months, the tenant may terminate the lease agreement with three months’ written notice effective from the end of the month.

  • What is a deposit and rental guarantee?

    The landlord’s security requirement is a deposit or rental guarantee equivalent to four months’ rent. This must be paid before keys are issued.

  • Will I be credit checked?

    Tenants who wish to purchase a rental guarantee will be credit checked.

  • Is Wi-Fi included?

    Yes, a standard Wi-Fi/TV package from Telia is included in the rent.

  • Is electricity included in the rent?

    No, electricity is not included in the rent. You must take out a separate electricity subscription.

  • Do I need home insurance?

    Yes. Thon Eiendom does not cover the tenant’s private property. You are therefore obliged to insure your possessions.

  • Is there heating in the apartment?

    Yes, there is district heating/underfloor heating in all floors except bedrooms, and most bathrooms. 

  • Are pets allowed?

    Pets are not allowed without the landlord’s written consent. 

  • Is there parking space for cars and bicycles?

    Yes, there is a separate bicycle parking area in the basement. There are also some parking spaces for rent through Timepark.

  • Do the apartments have storage rooms?

    All apartments have a sports storage room in the basement.

    No, all apartments are unfurnished.

  • Are the apartments equipped with white goods?

    Yes, all apartments are equipped with white goods. This means fridge/freezer, cooker with hob and dishwasher.

  • If there a connection for a washing machine in the apartments?

    Yes, there is a connection for a washing machine in all apartments. Most apartments have space for a standard washing machine, but in a few there is only space for a 40-cm wide washing machine.
