About the centre

The Storo Storsenter is centrally located in the northern city district of Storo. The centre has excellent public transport connections by bus, tram and subway, making it easily accessible from many of the other areas of the city. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find by car.

Market and customer base

The Storo Senter attracts around 25,000 visitors daily, many of whom are in the younger age categories. The primary market for the centre is residents within a radius of 3.5 kilometres, which translates into around 204,000 people. The secondary market is the rest of the city, mostly the western areas, with a combined population of around 580,000.

Retail mix

The retail mix at the Storo Storsenter is both extensive and varied, ensuring that shoppers have plenty of options. There is a good mix of grocery, clothing, health and well-being shops, as well as shops specialising in interior design, photography, electronics, textiles, hardware, sports and more. The centre also has a tempting selection of food service establishments, offering a pleasant break from shopping.

On the roof of the building is the Storo Storsenter's own apiary, where around 80,000 bees contribute to the production of honey and lip balm. These products can also be purchased by visitors, of course.
