AMGI Roseby to become Molde's biggest employer
Ten adjacent retail properties are also included in the centre, which has been named AMFI Roseby. The consolidated AMFI Roseby is expected to achieve a turnover of NOK 2.3 billion.
The centre will have a total of 90 shops, and with around 1,000 team members, will be Molde's largest private employer.
"Under a single name and with joint operations, AMFI Roseby will be a strong regional shopping centre and among the ten largest shopping centres in Norway," says Property Manager Irene Malmedal.
Continued collaboration
The management of the two centres merged last year, with Anne Lise Sæter Simonsen at AMFI Roseby taking over as centre manager and Grethe Nøsen at Molde Storsenter transferring to a key position in property management at Thon Eiendom.
According to Anne Lise Sæter Simonsen, the merger will strengthen collaboration among tenants through a joint marketing and operations strategy, and the centre will become an even more attractive retail destination for start-ups.
