Wendy Fjeldstad joined the Olav Thon Group in 2002 as a trainee receptionist at Thon Hotel Cecil in Oslo, where she worked as a receptionist until 2007. She then started at Thon Hotel Arena in Lillestrøm, first as a congress consultant and later as a congress manager and accounting assistant before becoming administration manager in 2016.
In her job as administration manager, she is responsible for HR-related tasks, management support, HSE work and other office administrative tasks.
What I like best about my job: My varied and interesting working day, where no two days are the same. It brings both challenges and development opportunities, which I appreciate. I also have the pleasure of being in dialogue with all departments and employees at the hotel on a day-to-day basis, in connection with various HR and HSE tasks, which I really enjoy.
