About the centre
The centre is located in the heart of Jessheim, a growing city with a population of close to 24,000 (2023). The same can be said of the municipality of Ullensaker, whose population is approaching 44,000 (2024), with the close proximity to Oslo Gardermoen Airport as an important growth driver for both the population and business. This is a centre undergoing continuous development. From large and well-established shops and innovative new additions to a popular flea market on the square outside, the Jessheim Storsenter is synonymous with attractive shops and a vibrant community centre. In 2026, the centre will also help convert the neighbouring City Hall Square into festival grounds, which will further strengthen the centre’s status as a hub of activity.
Market and customer base
The primary market comprises Jessheim and the municipality of Ullensaker and a large percentage of Øvre Romerike. Together with Nes, Gjerdrum, Hurdal, Nannestad and Eidsvoll, the total customer base is close to 122,000 people. The secondary market consists of the municipalities in Nedre Romerike - with a combined population of over 300,000 - and parts of Glåmdalen, Hadeland, Toten and southern Hedmark.
Retail mix
The centre has around 140 shops and food service establishments, with a special focus on fashion and sports. The centre has also popular food service establishments and outdoor restaurants, resulting in lots of people and activity at this central location. The fourth floor of the centre houses entrepreneurs and small businesses at Business Jessheim and higher education at the Gardermoakademiet.
