About the centre
Located close to the centre of Åkrehamn, Thon Center Åkra is easy to reach both on foot and by car. The centre has plenty of parking and a bus stop right outside the front entrance, with good connections to the neighbouring communities.
Market and customer base
Karmøy is an attractive and growing municipality and as the island’s only major centre, Thon Center Åkra is an important shopping destination for local residents. Many in the neighbouring municipalities also shop here on weekends. The primary market consists of the residents of Åkrehamn and Kopervik (approximately 20,000 people), while the secondary market is the municipality of Karmøy and Haugalandet (combined population of around 142,000).
